Prof. Dr. Peter Gotsch is a planner-architect and urban researcher. Presently Professor for International Urbanism at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt am Main, he has lectured and conducted research at Columbia University New York, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, the TU-Darmstadt and the FU-Berlin. Dr. Gotsch has worked for design consultancies such as Herzog & Partner (Munich) and for development organisations such as the GIZ, UN-Habitat and Misereor. He has worked and lectured in more then 30 countries and devoted himself to studying issues of international urban development at a comparative level. His work in India dates back to the year 2005.
